We are always looking for groups, organization and individuals of all ages to join the residents who are involved with our Adopt a Roadside Program! Call the Highway Department to adopt your roadside today.
More than 24 Town roads have been adopted to date. On April 26, the crew from Stewart’s Shops did a fantastic job cleaning up Locust Grove Road. They told us they filled 9 bags! Also, our residents of Braim Road cleaned up the roadsides. It seems spring weather brings the energy for spring cleaning. Many thanks to these two groups.
If you want to get involved call the Highway Dept. at 518-893-7604, ext. 103. We provide a street adoption sign as well as trash bags and safety vests. We are always looking for donations and people who would like to grow our program. Our long-time volunteer Theresa Ellsworth would love to train someone new to handle the administration of the program. It is an excellent way to give back to the TOG. Thanks to Theresa for her ongoing support as program administrator.
